On September 15, we celebrate IT Professionals Day by recognizing the M289 IT Department! We thank them for keeping us connected, solving all of our technology problems, and ensuring that students and staff continue learning using technology! Thank you for being our tech wizards!

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Brad Henry and all the riders from the Illinois Valley Autism and Special Needs Ride! We are incredibly grateful for your generous donation of sensory and communication devices for our students at M289. Our students will benefit greatly from these resources, and we truly appreciate your kindness and support. Thank you for making a difference in our school community!

Northbrook's Art Club needs your help!

Lincoln Families: Please remember that the staff parking lot is not a student drop-off or pick-up area. Students should be dropped off along 3rd or 4th Ave. At dismissal, please park on a neighboring street and walk to pick up your child or have them walk to you. Do not stop at intersections or in the roadway to have your child get into your vehicle. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!

Be sure to check out the Family Safe Night Out on Friday, August 21 at the Mendota Civic Center!

Lincoln Families: due to muddy playground conditions and more incoming rain we are going to be inside this morning. Students can enter door 1 through the office in the front or door 4 in the rear of the building and staff will help direct them to the correct place to wait. Hoping for better conditions

Lincoln Families: We are excited to have everybody back at school tomorrow. Just a reminder that drop-off is on 3rd Ave (rear of the building) or 4th Ave. (front of the building. Please do not pull into staff parking areas for pick up or drop off. Weather permitting all students will be on the playground before school each morning. If it is raining, students should enter through door 4 in the rear of the building or door 1 through the office in the front of the building. If we are inside in the morning, students will be directed to wait with their class in the old gym. Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 to 8 AMl in the new gym. Looking forward to a great year! 💙💛

Join us for breakfast tomorrow at Northbrook! This is available to any resident of the Mendota #289 area, ages 2-18 regardless of the school attended! Open 7:30am-9::00am Monday-Friday until June 18th! On the Menu for tomorrow, June 5th: Egg bites and biscuit OR Bagel and cream cheese!
