Northbrook Middle School

Yesterday was a fabulous day at Northbrook! Award winning author Jordan Sonnenblick visited with us! Mr. Sonnenblick has written many of the middle school students favorite books especially Drums, Girls and Danngerous Pie. He told the story of the inspiration for writing his first book and had every single student engaged. He told his own middle school story of being a kid with ADD and how difficult school was for him. After the assembly he worked with small groups of students on their writing skills.  We are grateful to Mrs. Kleckner for making this visit possible!
