Lincoln Principal Hired March 28, 2024
After a thorough search and two rounds of interviews, Elyssa Albers of West Brooklyn has been hired as the next Principal at Lincoln Elementary.
Mrs. Albers is currently the Assistant Principal at Northbrook, where she has done a fantastic job working with students, staff and parents. We are very excited to see how she brings her own leadership style to a building filled with amazing kids and adults!
I would like to thank all the staff and parents who helped in the hiring process by providing feedback or participating in interviews. We had a very comprehensive process involving staff, community, Board, and administrators. This process yielded the most competitive candidate pool that I have ever seen, as the first round of interviewing had five prospective candidates that would have done a nice job for us.
In the end, Mrs. Albers was unanimously the best fit for us moving forward.

Después de una búsqueda exhaustiva y dos rondas de entrevistas, Elyssa Albers de West Brooklyn ha sido contratada como la próxima directora de la Primaria Lincoln.
La Sra. Albers es actualmente la subdirectora de Northbrook, donde ha hecho un trabajo fantástico trabajando con los estudiantes, el personal y los padres. ¡Estamos muy emocionados de ver cómo aporta su propio estilo de liderazgo a un edificio lleno de niños y adultos increíbles!
Me gustaría agradecer a todo el personal y a los padres que ayudaron en el proceso de contratación brindando comentarios o participando en entrevistas. Tuvimos un proceso muy completo que involucró al personal, la comunidad, la junta directiva y los administradores. Este proceso produjo el grupo de candidatos más competitivo que jamás haya visto, ya que en la primera ronda de entrevistas había cinco candidatos potenciales que habrían hecho un buen trabajo para nosotros.
Al final, la Sra. Albers fue unánimemente la mejor opción para que siguiéramos adelante.
