
February Breakfast and Lunch Menus







Due to the cancellation of school on Tuesday, January 21, the breakfast and lunch menus will be altered this week as follows:
Breakfast (All Schools)-
Wednesday- Cinnamon roll, crackers, fruit, and juice
Thursday- Pancakes, string cheese, fruit, and juice
Friday- Uncrustable, crackers, fruit, and juice
Lunch (All Schools)-
Wednesday- No lunch (11:30 dismissal)
Thursday- Beef Tacos, fiesta black beans, cucumber slices, and pineapple
Friday- Cheesy eggs, pancakes, hashbrown, yogurt, and orange

The Northbrook Student Council is planning a fun Winter Carnival for our students on Friday. We hope you can attend!


For the month of November, all Blackstone students made bookmarks on World Kindness Day as their kind deed. Those bookmarks were delivered to the Illinois Veterans Home along with puzzle books for the residents to enjoy!



The pick up for the Club's Choice fundraiser is tomorrow, November 21, from 3:30-5:30 in the Northbrook Big Gym. Please use door #1 to enter the gym. If you have questions, please contact your child's school.

Due to the half day on October 31 and no school on November 5 for the General Election, there will be no After School Program either of those days. After School Program will resume on Thursday, October 7.

Scare drugs away by wearing your best Halloween costume on Thursday! Costumes should be school appropriate. Guidelines have been previously shared by each school. Remember it is an 11:30 dismissal Thursday, October 31!

Don't forget that Red Ribbon Week is October 28 - November 1st in the District. We will celebrate with a different dress up day each day. Notes went home with all students on the different days.
