We have a busy week at Lincoln School!
Book fair- The book fair will be going on all week, so feel free to send book fair money with your student(s). The book fair will be open from 8:30-2:30 through Friday.
Open House- We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 during our open house! The book fair will also be open from 5:30-6:45 for those families who are interested in purchasing items. The book fair is located in the Old Gym.
Thursday- Purple/Gold Day- Come dressed up in purple/gold and/or your MHS apparel . Go Trojans!
Friday- Lincoln School Spirit Wear Day. Last day of the book fair.
Don't forget, this Wednesday is picture day at Lincoln School!

Mendota Elementary #289 would like to welcome our new teachers to the district. Some are new to us while others are starting a new role within the district. Lincoln School would like to introduce our new Administrative Assistant, Holly Mathieu! She is taking over for Kelly Knaff, who held the position for the past eight years. Holly is a resident of the district and has two daughters that attend M289 schools. She’s been working at Lincoln School over the summer; learning from Kelly! Holly’s doing a great job and we’re proud that she’s part of our Lincoln and M289 team!
Mendota #289 is not losing Kelly! She’s been working hard taking classes in order to get her teaching degree. This fall, she will be gaining valuable experience working in various classrooms throughout the district. In the spring, she will be student teaching in our district. We’re looking forward to Kelly’s continued service in our district, as we continue to “grow our own!”
Let’s welcome Holly to Lincoln School and thank Kelly for her service, while wishing them all the best during this upcoming year!

Classroom assignments for our K-5 students will be posted tomorrow (Friday, August 5th) at noon. You will be able to find the rosters on each building’s website as well as on the main entrance to each building.
