This is for any current families that have not completed the registration process and also for any new families to our district.
Please keep in mind that your child will not be on a class list or receive a schedule until registration is complete.

The Northbrook office will be open Monday-Thursday 8:00am-2:00pm. We are closed on Fridays until August. If you need assistance with registration please call or stop in!

This is the link for the 8th grade promotion ceremony tonight. It will go live at 6pm
Due to the forecasted rain, tonight's movie has been pushed back to 7:30 and is moved inside to the big gym. Outdoor games will not be available but we will still have pizza and soda for sale with student council providing free popcorn. You are encouraged to bring your sleeping bags or blankets!
The show must go on!

Tomorrow May 16th 5th grade field trip to Lake Kakusha is cancelled due to impending weather.
Due to the rain the 5th grade field trip for today is cancelled. The rain date is set for Thursday May 16.
Tonight's track meet at Plano is cancelled. There will be track practice from 3-5 for Northbrook at the track.
We hope everyone had a fun and restful Spring Break. We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow. The April breakfast and lunch menus are now available on our M289 website and app.

There will be no district after school program on Thursday, March 28th. The after school program will resume after spring break on Tuesday, April 9th.
Due to the weather, tonight's track meet is cancelled. There will be indoor practice from 3-5pm in the big gym.
5th Grade intramural sports seasons at Northbrook are starting soon! See the attached flier for information about sign ups and games.

Our 7th grade girls volleyball team are headed to another championship game! Tomorrow night at 5pm they play Rockford Marshall for the regional championship! We want to send them off in style! Wear your red and white spirit wear tomorrow! Way to go girls! We are so proud!❤️🤍
We will kick our our annual Nothing Bundt Cake fundraiser this Friday, January 26th. Order forms will be sent home with students. Orders and payments are due back to school no later than 3 PM on February 5th. Thank you for your continued support of District 289.
